I am laid back person who enjoys new adventures and am looking forward to exploring Baltimore through fun excursions with good company. I am new to the area and enjoy anything from live music to museums to dancing and the outdoors. I enjoy trips to DC and traveling in general. I am a librarian and do enjoy a good book. I collect Richard Brautigan novels and poetry.
I love to go to the movies and like most genres the only kind of movies I really don't like are slasher films like saw. I like to watch baseball but have not really warmed up to football, though I have been known to watch a game or two.
I am origially from NY and travel up there about once every two months to visit friends and family.I like cities and like to spend time in them but also enjoy things like camping, swimming, and hiking. My favorite vacation spot so far is Maine.
So I guess I am looking for someone who is laid back, more than likely a Democrat. Likes nights in and nights out, hanging out with friends, vacation, and is open minded about children and life's twists and turns. :)

I think it is nice to meet for coffee or a drink for the first date. This is a nice way to make it casual and see if you might want to see the person again for another date or friends if that seems more likely.
