I have three kids, which I share custody with their father. I have a good job and am financialy secure and am upwardly mobile in my profession.

I'm looking for a date, not a mate. I've been single for almost 4 years and in that time have done all the things I needed to do and take care of in regards to my family, myself and my career, although it is really a never ending task for all lol. I've done things for just me and am happy and confident, I enjoy my independence and always have however, I would also like to enjoy the company of someone who is as happy and confident and has some similar interests as me, which shouldn't be hard since I really do have a lot of varying interests!

I'm sincere, genuine, honest and passionate about life and everything in it and all the possibilities that lay before us and I look forward to perhaps meeting someone who is as well. There is no baggage that I carry (unless you count my carry on lol) and no ex's looming in the background, I ask that you be in the same boat as I don't wish to waste my time or yours. What I'd really like is to like someone and have them like me back, pretty simple and straight forward......or so I thought! I never thought it'd be that tough to find and maybe this sort of site (even though it is a "Dating" site right?) isn't the place to try, but I'll continue to give it a go for a little while longer! *I can't believe I'm adding this, but here goes.......please don't have a "sorta" girlfriend, or "kinda" be in a relationship or have an ex your not over and still be trying to get a date, I'm stating what I figured was the obvious but apparently for a lot of people it's not*

Depends on who the first date is with, I like to meet someone be comfortable and interested before I even think about a first date, after that it depends on a number of things however I am pretty much open to most things and tend not to have too many expectations and like to take things as they come.
