Someone I met recently from POF just informed me that my pics are "the pitts" and that I am beautiful in person. Don't quite know what to do with this information so will let you decide.

I guess I really hope to eventually have a long term relationship but don't know how to meet that certain someone without first dating so chose dating in the "I am looking for" section. I am lucky to love my life enough to be able to almost never complain about it and would like to find someone who is also comfortable in their own skin. I just turned 51 and have no hang ups about it because I am more active, content and healthier than ever before. Drama and baggage from old relationships are huge turn-offs.I am very affectionate and open with someone I am attracted to so need someone who is comfortable with displays of affection as well. I do not measure my success by the size of my paycheck and consider myself very lucky to look forward to every day with passion. I absolutely love what I do for a living, believe it to be exactly where God wants me.
I love storms of any kind and snow melting on my head while sitting in a hot tub. Cooking together more than a fancy restaurant. Animals, being a Grandmother, concerts (mostly classic rock), travel, reading, laughing out loud until it hurts, anything outdoors, being active and men with uninhibited passion. Please have a mind of your own and not just say what you think I want to hear. Honesty is best even if it means we are not compatable. It does not mean either of us is bad........just different. I do not need nor want a man to take care of me financially but do expect him to be able to take care of himself.

I am hesitant to call a first meeting a date as I believe a date is more something we decide on after we have met.
