I’m a thrill seeker. I like roller coasters and traveled twice to the states just to visit roller coaster parks. I would also describe myself as adventurous, I like to experience as much out there as possible. I enjoy camping and spent weekends in the Algonquin. Among the places that I've traveled, I enjoy Asia the most and spent two months last year visiting China, Macau, Hong Kong and Thailand.

My adventurism I think also reflects what I pursue and aspire to do, and that is to fly helicopters. I’m a pilot and I’ve moved from my hometown of Toronto to Edmonton and now Vancouver to follow my ambitions. Right now I work for a helicopter operator in the city putting in my time. Before getting my commercial pilot license I previously worked as a graphic designer and have an appreciation for photography. Do you know how to use a Holga?

I spend most of my free time playing volleyball, baseball, reading and watching movies. You will often find me at a school or a rec centre in the city playing volleyball. Occasionally I play golf, only after forgetting how badly I played last… time heals all. I try to keep fit and do my best to eat healthy, but the body dies without chocolate or the odd junk food meal. It’s all about balance. Call it the geek in me who likes to expand his horizons, or the kid in me with a strong curiosity, but I enjoy watching some Discovery shows and documentaries. I think both are excellent qualities. And although I like most music, I currently listen to Zero7, Moby, Thievery Corporation, Coldplay and Metric.

I'm Chinese. Regrettably, I never learned to speak it growing up. I did take a Cantonese-speaking course, but the only saying I managed to retain is knowing how to ask, “How much are these mangoes?” I’ve discovered it hasn’t gotten me very far.

I like spontaneity and flexibility is essential to my style. I'd like to meet someone who is similarly down-to-earth, easy going, genuine and lives for the moment. I’m open to dating but any relationship starts as a friendship.
