I graduated from college here in Tennessee in 2007. I work at a factory for now, though what I really want to do is start my own business, raising small animals (mostly lizards and possibly small mammals or birds).

I am very interested in psychology (it was my major in college). I love the outdoors. I love the ocean even though I've only been there a few times. I try to go hiking, camping, and swimming/rafting/etc. at least a few times a year. I listen to all kinds of music, especially alternative rock, classic rock, and instrumental new age like David Arkenstone and David Lanz. I read everything I can- science fiction and fantasy, memoirs and biographies, self-improvement, science, etc. My favorite author is Orson Scott Card. I am fascinated with languages. I am slightly obsessed with the TV show Supernatural, and I follow a few other shows as well (Heroes, House, Lost). I have so many hobbies and interests that I can't keep track of them all.

I consider myself a Christian, having done so my whole life and recently, in the past year or so, going through (for lack of a better term) a crisis of faith where I completely walked away from it all to try to start over "objectively." I've very recently come to the conclusion that my original beliefs are the truth, or at least the best truth I've found so far, and I am working on re-establishing my struggling relationship with Christ.

I appreciate, and laugh at, all kinds of humor, including really stupid stuff. My brother and my friends are the most important parts of my life, and I would do almost anything for them. I am also very close to my parents.

I'm an introvert at heart but not a loner. I'm not big on "partying" but I love to drink in small groups of people I'm comfortable around.

I am interested in finding friendship, dating, and eventually a long-term relationship.

I would be up for anything as long as it was informal and not ridiculously expensive. Coffee shops are great, bars like Applebee's are okay. Any place not too noisy and chaotic...
