Hi there. My name's David, and I am not interested in hook-ups, one-night stands, "clubbin", or any other kind of frivolous stupidity.

I'm a spiritualist to the Nth degree, but I'm still a dead-to-rights logic nut.

I believe in art, not just entertainment.

I love Eastern art and culture, and Western culture is a bit of a negative in my book with a few notable exceptions.

I don't like hurting people, and I don't like being hurt. Maybe that makes me normal, but it seems like it's worth saying just so everybody knows where I stand.

I want a companion, not arm-candy. I want someone intelligent, someone with meaningful ideas mixed into their views of the world.

I believe in many things. Among them are peace, friendship, balance, forgiveness, duty, honor, and defending what's right.

I take the bus everywhere, and my parents are glad I do because it saves them money. Yes, I live with my parents, but I do try to live a mature life (I don't always succeed unfortunately, so don't expect a perfect adult man, please)

I'm currently studying to become a video game designer, but I also plan to go beyond simply making games when my career is over. I don't want to leave my dreams open to being stolen, but if I find my way to trust you, I'll let you know what some of them are.

When I learn about an injustice in the system, whatever that system is (the hip-hop industry, for example, even though I'm not a fan of the music... I just end up meeting people who are in the business), I try to figure out the ideal solution, and when I have an opportunity to let it get to those who need it, I give it for free.

I am not going to lie: I'd like to find someone who is physically attractive. However, my definition of physically attractive is both broad and flexible. If I've messaged you and you're reading this after I've contacted you, it's pretty certain that I think you're attractive.

I would like to find a woman who is not materialistic, shallow, or normal. I hope to find someone who experiences some kind of hardship in her life that makes things consistently a little more difficult than average.

I want to find someone who will hold me when I feel sad, and who likes to hug and snuggle and share affection with the man they care about.

I prefer larger women to smaller, whether in height, width, or even weight. I prefer women who are really giving, and loving towards the person they care about. I admit that I can be a bit needy, so if someone doesn't mind helping me with housework I really appreciate it.

I don't care who you are, though. As a person, I care about you. If you want to talk to a friend, you have me as an option, even if we've never met. I want to have a hand in making your life work out.

I'm not perfect, but then as of May 10th, I'll be 20. Sure, I'm not 19 anymore. Okay, you've got me there. But I'm still developing and growing.

I intend for my development to never stop, and the reason is that I believe life is beautiful for the same reason that the universe is beautiful:

It changes with the tides of possibility, and doesn't care if the world laughs.

I hope your development never stops, and that the pain life inevitably brings is always minimal and short.

Honestly, dates make me nervous, because I feel like I've got to do everything just right. So actually, I'd rather simply hang out with you and your friends or family, getting to know you, and inviting you to join my friends and family just the same. That way we can learn about each other without feeling pressured to be going further.

I'd rather go to your neighborhood basketball court - and get my ass whooped by you in front of laughing kids even as I joke around and make fun of myself - than go to dinner and awkwardly try to fulfill someone else's preconceived notion of what a proper first date is.
