I'm 6'1", 175 lbs, and in decent shape. I don't smoke or do drugs. My personality tends towards analytical and I am a moderate liberal, with a romantic heart.

I'm looking for someone who is comfortable enough with themselves to not feel that every gap in a conversation has to be filled with more talking. Engrossing conversations are great when things 'click', but skip the meaningless chit-chat. I also don't like to be asked "What are you thinking?" every 5 minutes - who does?

I want to meet someone who I can trust and will stand beside me and who I can make feel safe when I wrap my arms around you. Someone who's not going to go through every nook, cranny & closet in my house when I'm not looking (don't laugh - it's happened). I like a woman who has the ability to laugh at herself (as well as at others). We've got to have a sense of humor about things, otherwise it's just too difficult, don't you think?? If you're witty, so much the better.

I like a woman who hasn't forgotten how to be feminine, and if you have great legs, you're already ahead of the game.

It would also help if you knew the difference between "There", Their", and "They're".

Music: runs the gamut from classic rock to R&B, jazz and everything in between.

Ultimately, I want a long-term relationship, but they all start as short-term, don't they?
