The more I think about it, the more I wonder why this area is even mandatory. It's pretty obvious nobody ever actually reads it.

How many times on here do you see headlines like "lonely and looking" , "Looking for love" , "where have all the good men gone" , "looking for a good man" etc... Yet you see these same people on here forever. Are most people really looking online? I don't think they are. The problem is that when many people open up a profile on a dating site, they fall under the illusion that there are endless options for them , and that what would be satisfactory and desirable in real life, is not acceptable online.

So I guess the majority of people will keep circling one another, not making first contact or even responding when someone contacts you. Most will continue to keep moaning about how lonely they are, and how there are no good women/men out there, but will do nothing to change their situation. I know I am willing to take a chance, get to know someone and maybe start something special, are you ???

I enjoy spending time with my friends, just hanging out or having a few drinks, or playing pool. While I can enjoy mindless activities, I am also up for intellectual conversations anytime. When I am in a relationship, I enjoy showing SO I value them, even if just with small tokens of affection such as kisses and love notes. I love dancing as well, and wish I could get more time for it :)

We could meet in a public place (say Tim Hortons, as an example), chat, and see where things go from there.
