I am an active, easy going, father of two grown and settled children. I like to think I am open to all opportunites that life has to offer. Originally from England, I have been an American citizen for many years. I am healthy, and very gratefull for that, knowing that it can change for any one of us at any time.
I really enjoy nature and everything natural. I even trap and release mosquitoes! which I am told is carrying it too far.
I purchased a sailboat for a second time (unexpected each time - there are two separate stories here) and would hope to share the sailing experience with a new friend/partner (I am told I am a good teacher). I try not to judge any person or situation and look for the positive. I am practical, good with my hands, and a certified massage therapist too. Looking back thru this, it seems much too serious. I definitely like to have fun whenever possible.

I am thinking the first date would come about after some e-mails / phone calls back and forth and the decision "what to do" would be a mutual one. My preference would be for us to have a nice glass of wine over dinner ( I don't eat meat but still eat fish) at a quiet restaurant, with no limit on our time, so that we could talk ( and laugh )until the wait staff put on their coats as a hint to us to go home.
