I'm the product of an abusive marriage who escaped, went to Europe, finished university and reinvented myself. I've been on my own for quite a while so I am independent and self supporting. I have no kids, and no particular man at the moment. My life is simple, filled with a lot of business travel, and anchored with the simple pleasures of gardening, classical music, wine, my cat Luciano and Italian opera. My taste in men runs to the father figure- bigger than me, stout hearted, smarter, but warm, loving, and thoughtful. They must be solid old fashioned men who shave every day, cherish their ladies, hold with my country- right or wrong- and maybe look a little like John Wayne. Manners are real important- guys who wear their hats at the table need not apply- I'm not for you. I should add, that at this stage of life, companionship is real high on my list.

First off, I'm not real convinced I will actually meet somebody from POF. Too conservative I guess, But if I did it would be the usual thing- meet for drinks, then for dinner, maybe a little theater or a symphony. Traveling? forget it- I do enough on business.
