i'm 48 and live alone by choice.many friends both male and female.i'm a genuine,caring person,tactile.i'm also a deep thinker but love to have a good laugh as the other side to me is i'm witty.i value and love my kids and grandchildren.all my kids are grown up and are happy in their own right.i also have 2 stepkids who i treat the same as my own.i've been married twice and have been separated for 7 years now.i have a passion for Cornwall after living and working there for 3 years.i will chat for hours about cornwall and my passion for Birmingham City F.C.but i promise not to bore you with them.oh yeah,i'm gonna invest in shares in the wine and dvd businesses.(sorry...my sense of humour).i met up with a box of weetabix and a box of cornflakes in the supermarket yesterday....does this make me a cereal dater??
for those who like to play badminton...tell me,how do you get the horse to jump over the net?
although i've put friends in the little box,it's the best way to start any relationship but i look at it and question..."can i spend the rest of my life with you?"...if the answer is yes for me and you,then happiness is on it's way with the speed bumps to drive over and enjoy the smooth ride together along the way...know what i mean?
in every dream home a heartache,and every step i take,takes me further from heaven.is there a heaven?...i'd like to think so!...aske me about that one?
here's something i find funny....women who put talk/email on their profile and then put....must not smoke!...uh????......2 little things i've noticed with a lot of women which tickles me....the 'girlie' clap when you're excited and when you're sat on a chair or sofa and you hug a cushion..oh yeah,and walking down the street with your arms folded..just don't trip over!!

one little gripe:there's just as many women on here with no pics but a lot who won't mail men with no pics....it's a 2-way street and fair is fair ladies!
although i smoke,my intention is to wean off them as i started all those years ago when i become 50 but if i find the right partner to encourage me sooner,then that's the only thing i'd change about me.
i look on this site now as a tangled web of emotions..people trying to escape different circumstances they're in or have been in and looking for a simple strand of happiness
