I like to be surrounded by beauty and nature. I live on a canal in the woods with chickens, a cat and gardens that I have created and the Atlantic Ocean is 1/2 mile away. I like to put my kayak in from my dock and paddle up a secluded canal to look for herons or out to the Sound. I'm constantly observing the birds, butterflies and wildlife around my home. I really enjoy being home and outdoors but I love the mountains too. Although I like to be in a natural setting, I also enjoy taking in any art shows and performing arts that are available here.

I have a daughter, two stepsons and five grandchildren who I see occasionally. They live 4-6 hours away.

I am spontaneous and like to explore new things and places. I've done many things in my life, mainly starting two stores, doing real estate and owning a craft business. I often hear people say they wish they had done some things differently in their lives, but I feel that my life has flowed in the pattern it was meant to and I am exactly where I should be. I am a very positive person and try to be present in the moment.

I am a productive person and well-rounded. I play the piano, dance and kayak. I am artisic and like to create things. I like doing anything in, on or by the water. I do Respite and Hospice Care as a volunteer. I like change and like to challenge myself yet I also enjoy being home, nesting and gardening. I would like to share tranquil times with someone but I also want a man who gets excited about the same things as me and who can show me some new exciting things. Although I am very happy, I miss being intimate. I am very independent but also romantic.

I am interested in men who are fit, healthy and active, as I look, act and feel younger than my age. Physical attraction is very important to me. I don't expect a man to share all the same interests or views with me, only to respect these and to be open and honest. Good communication and open-mindedness is necessary and a good sense of humor would be a plus.
