ABOUT THE SETTINGS...Does it really matter what I put up here. Fact is I change the settings of what I am looking for and my location. The rest I keep honest. The fact is if I want to find someone, and I notice your profile which says must not be looking for something or must be within so many miles, and I feel we might be able to hit it off, I will change those settings to be able to write you. With me driving over the road, distance to me is just a joke and in a day can actually set up an address in your home town. Just don't see the reason to limit myself on what might be the right person, just because of distance or someone looking for something short term or long term. You never quite know what you will find. So why limit yourself.
ALONG THE ABOVE...Like I said why limit yourself. I am rather open to any race, any age, and the majority of body types. I look at myself as being average, however it has been pointed out by friends that what I am is not average. And guess I am not built like an average guy. I have a 30'waist a 52'chest and 17'arms, been told that is not average. And bench in excess of 400 pounds, squat more then 750 and dead lift a little over half a ton, told that isn't average or normal. Just I spent a few years in the military and being in shape and attempting to take care of your body is kinda like a second nature.
EDUCATION...Duh,I have been to school, got meself learnt real good. Seriously, I do have an education. I drive because I want to, not because I have to. Been to school and could most likely get a job in any hospital in the country. Not to bad for what is refered to as a dumb truck driver. Hold degrees in medical science, nutritional science, psychology and history. Been to the school of hard knocks too. Have a journeyman level in roofing and almost a journeyman in basic construction. Took some other courses along the way and am an ASST licensed and certified auto technition. And have lost track of the management courses I have taken. So I am educated. Not some dumb ole country boy. Even though that is the role I play. Most are a bit taken back when they find out the country boy, been to college. But was raised old school, you work and work hard for what you have. Even when I was in management, the other bosses and supervisors showed up in dress shirts and ties. I ordered company uniforms, for welders, and went on the factory floor. Still had my job to do everyday, but worked with the guys who worked for me. Assigned myself the hardest, nastiest and dirtiest job on the line. And did it everyday WITH my guys. And when customers came in to see the product and talk with the boss, they would come get me. I would shake their hand, and have one of my guys talk to them. Simply explained I might be the boss, but these guysbuild your machine, and they are more then qualified to answer any question you might have on the product. Never took the credit for what was completed always passed that on, but at the same time never passed on the problems or faults, excepted the blame fully myself. OLD SCHOOL...
TAKE THE CHANCE...If you thing you might fit the bill of what I am looking for, or if you think you just might be what I am in need of. Why not take the chance. You don't know unless you try. And I may not find you, but you find me. Just look over the profile. I try not to go on to much, but at least give some information to make it easier to decide.
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR...How about this, just someone. Someone to laugh with, cry with, hold and be held by, grow old with would be nice. But then, don't know exactly where to look, or what really to say. I am a romantic, and know how to treat a woman, if actually given a chance. Seems the majority just see I drive a rig and stop there. And fact is, because I drive I can relocate anywhere. And to be honest seems a bit shallow to judge everyone based on a few bad apples, not all truck drivers are d*ck heads.
They say when you set these things up to be honest, talk about hopes, dreams, likes, dislikes, hobbies. That that is what everyone wants to know of hand. To be honest those things change over time. And as we get older we look at life a little different. But what the hell. I guess I can give it a shot.
HONEST-I am who I am and can honestly care less who likes it or not. Fact is I am just a simple country boy that has a real set of values. I know how to treat a woman. I know how to open a door, give her a massage, listen to her when she talks (sometimes you might have to speak up between the military and the truck my hearing isn't the best, and ask how her day went---and holy sh*t actually give a damn.
HOPES/DREAMS-I would hope that eventually I would find someone I want to be with. That the first thing I think about in the morning is her the last think before I fall asleep is her. Get the feeling deep down that she is the reason I was put here. Although I am starting to feel like I am destined to be alone. Also have the dream of buying some land somewhere can really care less where. So long as there is some room, and preferable a stream running through or nearby, and build a cabin, with my own hands, on the land. But things sometimes change. Still a dream, but since my father passed away been put on the back burner and replaced with me making sure my mother doesn't loose the house I help to build for her and dad for christmas. A real set of values. So now I live in the truck, gave up my place, and put my dreams on hold so mom could keep hers.
LIKES/DISLIKES-The likes...honesty, music (have my favorites but can listen to anything for at least a little while, the open country, a little freedom, believe or not, cuddling...actually like holding and being held
the dislikes...stupidity, have no time or patience for utter ignorance. And can't stand a lazy person or quiters.
NOW JUST WRITE ME...You never know unless you take that leap of faith. Just write and see if we might get along. Don't care what you are looking for, short or long term. Because you just never know if it might work out.

The whole idea of the first date is just to get to know someone. So I think it is best to just keep it simple, keep it casual, keep it public, and by all means keep it honest.
We all have our ideas of dream dates. But to be honest sometimes dream dates can be a waste of money for a first date. Might be nice to see if you can get along first before going out and taking that step. Something as simple as a cup of coffee, tea, or a burger. Where you can actually have a conversation.
Movies are ok. However you can't talk at the movies. Walks are good, as long as it isn't raining or bitterly cold.
And as I stated above I am a romantic, and dream dates are nice. Kinda like the idea of a sunset stoll along a beach and a small picnic. And I do cook. Mostly Italian, and totally from scratch. How about that for a dream date. A man that can cook and is willing to cook for you...
