I view life as an adventure to be lived not merely to be observed and gone through mechanically without vitality, passion, in short: without purpose. And the best way to learn about something is to do it. I prefer storming a castle over watching a special on TV about it, racing across the water and battling a big fish rather than reading about such things in magazines, etc. Variety should be a spice to life and that means being willing to try different things as well as having passion and a spontaneous element to one's personality. For that after all is part of what keeps things from settling into too much of a routine.

I am well read on a variety of subjects and enjoy a variety of activities. I also am competitive by nature but at the same time can lose with grace and win with dignity...course just because I can do these things does not mean that I always do And for those of you who complain about men not listening, I am a good listener and I can actually do so with interest in what you have to say most of the time.

As far as the kind of woman that interests me, there is no one look or some strict kind of criteria on my part. I have been fortunate in my life to have seen beauty in a variety of appearances. But I have also learned through experience that appearances can be deceptive! We would be a good match if you are a happy person who knows what you want, a natural curiosity to your personality, a sense of humor particularly as it pertains to wicked and obscure humor styles, are reasonably fit, and possessing strength in a variety of (both obvious as well as secretive) ways. There has to be something about you that is unique and I want to know what that is. Show me what you are passionate about, what motivates you to live!!!

I want to know that you are a doer and not just a watcher in the game of life and that you are open to trying new things without concern for embarrassment. Believe me, I will not laugh...well, maybe a bit but I would laugh *with you* not *at you*.

And as life itself is a work in progress, so is this description section...I may add more to it later or revise it depending on my mood. Or I may delete it and rewrite it entirely in Russian slang.

A first date can be basically anything, the more creative and original (yet at the same time non-pressured) the better. I prefer activity but it can encompass the simplest of outings from a cup of coffee minus the "interview script" to more cultured things such as wine tasting, looking at an art exhibit, a trip to the beach, a pedicure, hitting balls at a batting cage or driving range, a game of catch in the park, miniature golfing, etc. I am not a fan of the old dinner and a movie script and definitely no movie. Riddle me this: how do people interact at a movie in a way to get to know something about one another anyway?
