A former military brat who has been lucky to see and experience more than the average person. I'm not ready to stop. Cruises are especially appealing and motorcycling a bonus. I'm rooted in that I have no worries either financially or emotionally. Past baggage is just that and has been put on the shelf as a learning experience. I would love to tour Italy one day as well as attend the Rose Bowl Parade. Andrea Bocelli and Chicago hot dogs are high on my list as is my Yorkie. Fredricksburg, Ranger baseball, flea markets, hole-in-the-wall restaurants, 6th Street in Austin, San Antonio, New York City, weekend jaunts to new places are favorites.

I believe attraction comes first. I have to "connect" before I can venture any further. I'm either very picky or very honest, but physical appearance is important to me. And it's how you look to me, not to anyone else. I am looking for someone who can take care of himself financially and emotionally and misses the companionship of that someone special. I believe health is wealth and that friendship should be the first step if you want to walk a long way. Attraction is instant; friendship takes longer.

I'm looking for someone to complete me, you know, make my heart dance, float my boat, melt my butter, give me that peaceful, fuzzy feeling inside. I'll be devoted to a fault, but expect the same in return.

I guess I should also add that I don't golf, do not care for wine or beer and Mexican is at the bottom of my food list. :)

I believe a first date should be simple so meeting for coffee (and not at Starbucks please) or tea or soda or water or fruit juice (you get the picture) would be perfect.
