I am a single dad raising an 8 year old son. I should mention that I do have custody as it tends to rule out any initial get togethers on a school night! I own my own home but I can't decorate it to save my life. I have a good, stable job.

I am very family oriented and enjoy spending time with my son whether it be playing mini-golf, going to Main Event, catching a ballgame at the park, or just playing around the house. I like to stay involved with him. I do like to work around the house, work on my own truck, occasionally catch my favorite sports team on TV ( Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, maybe some Nascar), but I don't really watch a whole lot of TV. I used to be very active in the outdoors, but have not done much in the last few years. I am looking to get back into that and introduce my son to that as well. Camping, hiking, fishing, etc..I do like sitting down at home to a good movie. Going through a phase now where I have been reading a lot. I can cook! Always have. I can usually be found lighting up the grill too.

I am a pretty quiet and laid back type of person (I know...everyone says they are, huh). I haven't been one to go to a bar for a while. Not to say I wouldn't go if I was with someone maybe catch a band, but it is not a goal of mine to just run right out to one.

I am looking to meet someone who has her life together and knows what she wants. Definitely needs to be family oriented and beyond that "feeling out" stage in their life. It should go without say that honesty is important. You can't have a relationship without it. Kindness and understanding are important too. Compassionate, loving, sincere, intelligent, unselfish. It takes a lot to make a relationship work and I would like to find someone who truly understands that and is capable of providing such things.

Obviously no one is going to fill up this space with everything there is to know about themselves and there is certainly more to me. So if I have peaked your interest, then I would certainly like to hear from you.
