Hmmm...what's appropriate here too much or too little information?...Hmmm...I likely lean toward too much...LOL!!!If one can get past the "wild look" and read through this tome you might be surprised...LOL!!(No worries, the bears I have drugged...that's what I do) I know where I came from, who I am, what I want and where I'm going. I have taken care of myself since the age of 4. I'm a self-made man. I'm financially independent, frugal but not squeaky. Likely considered a workaholic private homebody type. If I set my mind to it I can repair or do nearly anything with my hands. I'm soft spoken, however strong and confident in most situations. I've been accused of being too sensible, opinionated, conflicting but generous, brutally honest and blunt, even-tempered, disciplined, a dry wit and humor, choose friendships carefully, guard private time, cherish solitude. Not interested in; couch potatos, people who waste time, collecting gadgets or man toys or keeping up with the Joneses. I don't eat fast food, deep fried or drink soda. I'm not; a joiner, materialistic, sports fanatic or influenced or brain washed by corporate hype. I've cheated death and have witnessed plenty. I'm ambitious, goal oriented, analytical to a fault (the scientist side coming out), a problem solver, news junky, follow politics, world events, a people watcher, a bit eccentric, a bit of a gambler and a private person who can talk to anyone. With an IQ of only 125 my interests are broad and not limited to boat cruising, cross-country skiing, genealogy, photography, writing, hunting, fly fishing, woodworking, dancing, cooking and history.
I'm a wilderness junky. A passion for Alaska, she's been my main girl my entire adult life. I love the adventure she provides; her diversity, her wildlife, her mountains, her wild places, her vastness, her lifestyles, her history and her beauty hurts the eyes. Apparently I have an old soul stuck in the wrong time period. I find I'm attracted to antiques of nearly any description.

This is the way I see it...When everything comes natural with little effort and with out thinking about it. Friends can always be lovers, but lovers can never be friends! Someone who can Love me without fear, trust me without questioning, need me without demanding, want me without restrictions, accept me without change. Find my soul and I'm yours forever. "I will live in thy heart, die in thy lap and be buried in thine eyes". I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is won't make you cry. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to "waste" their time on you and live by the saying "If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you it was meant to be, if it doesn't then it was never yours to begin with. So where ever you are my Juliet come back to me."

I'm very visual but not shallow. But like most folks I'm waiting to be surprised by love. What I would look for in a female friend is likely like every one; a reciprocal relationship is paramount, best friend, companion and lover capable of complimenting each others life. A Friend for a day and a lifetime and Lover for a night and an Eternity. One with contradictions, one who exudes physical chemistry, has traditional partner values, shares mutual respect, is comfortable with who she is, introspective, is independent, has intellect, can carry on an intelligent conversation and is physically fit, is not afraid to get her hands dirty and better looking than myself. Someone with a sense of adventure, aware of their surroundings, plenty of confidence, common sense and wisdom, ambitious, not selfish, appreciates organizational skills and cleanliness, enjoys cooking, walks with a purpose, can work hard and love hard, low mantenance yet classy, can be seductive if she chooses, shares similar traits and interests including a passion for boats, wild places and is interested or tolerates hunting & fishing and a huge animal person. It would be remarkable if this special friend were succulantly age proportioned and harbored a secret bad girl side with an appetite for a healthy sex life. Dazzle me with your wordsmithing....
