I am completely uncertain about this process, but willing to try. It's difficult to describe what I'm looking for...is it companionship, a long-term relationship? I'm open to possibilities, let's just say that. I am looking for someone who is self aware, has made mistakes along the way and learned from them. I am looking for a man who is not afraid of emotions and is able to express himself. While I do take many things seriously, I love to have fun and laugh like crazy. Humor is a must. I love a man who has a serious side but can also appreciate pop culture and be silly. For instance, Anderson Cooper from CNN, he is intelligent and serious about many things, yet loves watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta! I think that's funny. I have been a hairdresser for almost fifteen years and love it, but I recently went back to college to become a counselor. I am two years into my schooling and love the challenge. I look forward to finishing and seeing where it will lead me. I was hesitant to go this route with the online thing, but as I'm sure you know, it's difficult to meet new people while traveling through the day to day rush. I'm keeping an open mind. There is not much that I would not be up for, I enjoy many things. I exercise, but I'm not overkill. I love to eat out, meet for drinks,see movies, etc. I believe in love but realize as I've gotten older that there are certain qualities I need to have in a partner to be compatable: great sense of humor, loyalty, self-awareness, emotionally capable, responsible, serious yet silly. Does that make sense? I hope so. I would love to meet someone who has kids, preferrably older children, but not a requirement. I have a son who is nineteen. He is in his first year of college and we are very close. I love kids, but don't plan to have any more. I would prefer someone who has been married before who understands what it's like. I get along great with my ex and would want someone who has the same. I believe the kids deserve that and would not want anything less. Physically, I do not look for perfection. That would make me uncomfortable. I like if a man has nice teeth, preferrably white lol. A bit overweight is fine, I find many things attractive, it just depends on what's in the mind. I find it ridiculous to have an ideal image in your mind about what someone should or should not look like, because usually it doesn't match up to what you want intellectually. Bottom line? I'm hopeful. I'm open to possibilities.

I'm not sure what I would do for a first date. Probably would depend on how we communicate before meeting.
