Come on Ladies!

Summer is winding down but there is still time to meet someone and get out there for some fun activities (foliage, apple cider, pumpkin pie!)before winter comes back around. Lets see what happens.

I am a single dad who has lived in Keene since 2001 and raised my daughters on my own. My 19 year old is away most of the year studying Engineering in College, and my youngest is still at home and she is a sophomore in High School this year.

I've met a few people since coming to Keene and hopefully I had a positive influence on their lives and helped them do for their children what I have been able to do for mine.

Now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and am looking forward to the day when my youngest goes off to College and I can take the next 40 years or so to do what's left on my "to do" list that is outside of our area.

I love being a dad and supporting my kids in their educational and sports activities but I also like to get out and away for some of my own activities. I look forward to expanding my musical and artistic pursuits. I taught myself to play guitar a couple of years ago and practice almost every day.

I got an email asking for a few vital statistics, so here goes.........I am 6'3", around 200lb., blue eyes and I've got a little salt to go with my pepper and a full head of hair. I try to stay trim through exercise and diet.

I am a good cook and make a variety of dishes. I am good with all the meat and veg you can eat and even bake a bit for my girls. I do not smoke and only drink about 6 - 18 drinks a year, mostly while camping. I usually dress casual but clean up pretty smartly and am a pretty good dancer, if I say so myself......there....I think I covered everything :)

I'm a self-employed craftsman and have even turned one of my hobbies into a growing internet company that I'm rather proud of.

She who knows who she is.....and where she wants to go....and who she wants to journey with.

I dont mind sharing some of my parenting secrets with a special woman who still has a chick or two to get launched but am looking for someone who is close to me in location and "time in life".

I need someone who will help me map out a forty year long journey that can be filled with wonder and amazement along the way.

I want someone who wants to lead a long, healthy life with me which usually means "all things in moderation" except that I cannot abide tobacco use. I respect those on the "road to recovery" but am only interested in someone whose system is already as cleansed as her heart and her head should be.

I am not looking for someone who needs to be "fixed" or who wants to "fix" ME. I am looking for a partner that will complement me and not duplicate me. Someone with compatible tastes who wants to sample the spice without throwing out the comfort. Someone who wants to be the Yin to my Yang.

Someone who can look at me...look at my life... look at where I've been and what I've done...look at what I plan to do.... and says to herself

"Oh Yeah.......forty years? Really? Sounds like one heck of a trip! Lets go!"

first dates should be a surprise but dinner and an activity always make for a great evening. my last first date started off with dinner at a new restaurant and a little dancing afterward but i also had a first date before that was just a cone of ice cream on a hot muggy night that was almost as fun because of the company :)
