Becoming an occasional traveler to both Merritt Island and Jacksonville, Florida - WOOHOO, I LOVE FLORIDA :). My sister recently moved to Merritt Island and my parents have a condo in Jacksonville so I plan on visiting as much as possible!!! I am a single dad of two great daughters ages 8 and 15. Both are smart, funny, beautiful, thoughtful and sometimes a handful. So similar yet so very different! I'm a science geek during the day and something completely different outside of work. At my current employer I started off as a research scientist purifying and characterizing antibodies and other proteins as part of research to discover antibody therapeutics for cancers and autoimmune diseases. Now, still at the same company, I am a project manager within the development team. I travel a bit for my new position and my travels will be to a number of different places, but recently mainly to the Middleton, WI and Raleigh, NC areas. Prior to this job, I worked in vaccine R&D. Music is a passion of mine and I love going to rock shows. I am a self taught drummer and would love to be a part of a band … if anyone is interested ... gimme a shout!

I tend to associate with tolerant, honest, non-judgmental, understanding, kind, adventurous and funny people. Staying in shape is important to me and I do all sorts of things to accomplish that. In a nutshell, I am easy going, will try many things at least once, like most things in moderation and always try to find the silver lining in the cloud.

My interests include ... Spending time with my two awesome daughters, drumming, taking long walks with a good friend, music, the beach, going to concerts, spending time with my friends, swimming, golf, hiking, boating, kayaking, canoeing, biking, cooking, sunrises/sunsets, relaxing at home with good company, camping, gardening/landscaping, motorcycles (don't have one but will someday), enjoying wine/beer/other tasty beverages with friends, cuddling, laying in bed listening to the rain, rollercoasters, Sushi and Thai, art galleries, museums, Black Jack - especially in Vegas. Most things old and historical ... history of man, history of the US, ancient Egypt, dinosaurs, cool old houses. Anything warm, outdoors, interesting and fun .. count me in!!

Could be anything, really!! Oh and did I mention I'm a sucker for pretty feet. Hey, there's a good first date .. sharing a bottle of wine and getting a foot massage .. lol ;).
