About Me
Wow how time flies. Its been four years since I moved here. Some things have changed most have not. Im still single. Still looking still dreaming of the one who will steal my heart and make me weak in the knees. Perhaps that is never to be. I still work at the courthouse but in Family court now. My son is still grown but has recently moved down here to South Florida!!!! The absolute best for me. Hope it will be a good thing for him as well. I am from Northern New York, way up near Lake Placid. I love photography and had the dream job a few years ago. Now it's time to make a new life. Am an avid amusement park fanatic when I can get to one. Love to go fishing and am pretty good at it (I dont touch the fish....I always get hurt if I do) I enjoy travel and love to drive. I'm looking for a man who is kind, caring, affectionate, humorous, loves to spend time talking and cuddling. I would like him to be the type who can tell me whats wrong and accept the support I will offer but who will also do the same for me. I am willing to learn and try new things for the sake of spending time with him. At this time I am looking for a friend to do things with and to spend time with and get to know before going to that next step. I think I'm pretty easy going and like everyone I want to have some fun. My Prince IS out there somewhere..........I just havent been lucky enough to find him. I am adding a PS to this since it seems that I am destined to be alone. I think that maybe looking for a man who is not seeking the perfect woman isnt something that will happen in Florida. I admit first and foremost I am nothing to look at and I have my ways that may butts heads with yours but I am the type that will always be there when you need me. Im not a fair weather friend or anything else. The good times and the bad are what you share not something where you should stand alone. There is a quote it goes like this "the walls we create are not to keep others out, there are to fence ourselves in". How true is that for you?
First Date
Isnt the first date the hardest? Meeting someone and wondering IF it will work...IF they will like you...hoping that if you like them it isn't just one sided......... I have found that meeting is so much easier if you just hug when you meet and get that awkwardness over with. Then the rest is easy. A perfect first date is wherever you are both comfy. Whether that is Applebees, the beach, or a 5 star resturant. If you like each other watching a movie and eating popcorn is just as wonderful and exciting as going out dressed to kill. Whatever we do.........its just ME and YOU....so make the most of it and see where it goes...........
