Hi. I'm a nice, easy-going, creative, somewhat quiet, yet passionate guy with a strong work ethic, lots of interests, and lots of integrity. I've been told that I am a great listener. I've been told that I am very funny and highly intelligent. I've been told that I'm a space cadet. I've been told that because I'm over 40, single, and never married, that I am gay (which I am not). I've been told a lot of things, but that's okay, because I know who I am and what I want.

On a weekend afternoon, you'd find me enjoying a soy latte and reading at a bookstore or coffeehouse about spiritual growth, web technology, or recording/mixing techniques. On a weekend night, you'd find me playing foosball at the pub, going to a party, going to dinner for spicy ethnic cuisine and drinking a Belgian ale or glass of Merlot. On weeknights, I'd be reading, playing guitar, working on my computer to learn more about the things I'm passionate about. I rarely turn on my TV, and even more rarely do I go to the movies. I enjoy movies, but I don't like going to the actual theatre. I'm a big fan of the "rewind" button when I watch a movie, because I don't want to miss a word that the writer intended. I like dramas, documentaries, romantic comedies, and action/adventure. I don't watch horror movies. Although I'm a good athlete, I rarely ever watch sports. The last football game I actually watched was probably over 20 years ago. I'm not a fan of live sporting events or Disneyland. Although I love being near the ocean and enjoy walking on the boardwalk, you will not find me laying in the sand suntanning.

I'm into artsy/fartsy, craft-fair types of things. I like Pictionary & charades. I love to learn new things from others, and I'd love to learn new things from you (and vice versa). I believe it's important in a relationship to have more similarities than differences.

I am looking for a mature, spiritual, independent woman who knows and loves herself well--an intelligent, funny and generous woman who is beautiful inside and out--a woman who is kind to strangers. I'm looking for a woman who is content with her own life and doesn't need constant attention. I want to find a woman who can enjoy reading a book on the couch while I'm on the computer, and vice versa.
