About Me
I realize that most assume a man at my point in life is on a site like this looking for immediate gratification. That's not me. I have an enormous amount of love to give. I would like to find someone willing to accept it.
Making the woman I love happy makes me happy. Sounds like a line I know but I'm very secure in myself. I don't have great emotional needs or to be taken care of, all I need is trust and love.
I am very open, maybe sometimes to a fault, like to talk and I'm more than capable of being honest even about the not so great stuff. Being able to trust someone else with all that "stuff" is very important to me.
I'm a traditionalist, love the proven things in this world. Grew up on a farm outside a small town in Iowa with a very strong bond to my family and they are the most important part of my life. Along with Jimmy, my beagle :)
I've experienced a great deal in life that has led me to be the man I am today. Being able to look back on them and see how they've positively affected my character is one of the things I am most proud of. I'm pretty humble so it's not easy to say this but I think it's very important part of me.
I would love to meet someone capable of sharing and giving to a life where together we are more than we are as individuals. Someone who is willing to trust me with their fears, insecurities, ambitions, desires and their love. Someone who is capable of making anything in life a joy and willing to live life from their heart.
First Date
Our first date could be anything you're comfortable with whether it's 3 days on a beach or lunch. Probably best if it's meeting somewhere you're comfortable with and getting to know each other.
I'm willing to try anything twice and don't care much about the "what", I can make pretty much anything fun. Always felt the journey should be enjoyed just as much or more than the destination.
