I enjoy people, not scenes. There's a world beyond the gaybourhood; it's called LIFE.

Masculine dudes are fun. Feminine guys aren't typically my thing sexually, but can be good friends. I consider myself intelligent, passionate, compassionate, spiritual, intuitive, non-judgmental, transparent, non-materialistic, and look for those same qualities in others. I value integrity greatly. Happy staying at home reading a book but need to balance it with externals. I'm a dreamer and generally prefer artists or those who think outside the box. I love rock climbing (indoor for now), music(!), reading, keeping fit, the arts, conversation, meditation, and adventure in all its forms.

Honesty, Integrity, Transparency. Those are the most important qualities I value in a person. You don't have to be a model to be hot, and outside appearance can only take you so far. That being said, there has to be some physical attraction between two people to make a relationship work and to make it whole. I've enjoyed my life's path to this point and would enjoy it with another, though I'm not investing my sense of fulfillment in that solely. Codependency sucks. Above all, friendship and growth are what matters most.

Youthful vitality can come at any age. Wisdom is more important that intelligence. I'm much more impressed with a six-pack on a 40 y/o than on an 18 y/o. Usually I am attracted to guys around my age or older, but not always. Maturity is where it's at. All packaging with no content bores me. I do have a weakness for fuzzy guys in good shape, regardless of ethnicity.

Meeting new people is great. Drama is damned irritating. Don't bring it around me and I promise not to bring it around you. Everyone has sh*t in their lives, it just shouldn't define who you are.

At the moment I'm in Toronto but have plans to make Vancouver my new home next year.

Anything OUTSIDE of the gaybourhood is good with me. The mind-numbing superficiality, conformity, insecurity, pretentiousness, and drama in mainstream gay culture can be a little over the top.

I will only connect with guys who are out and proud of who they are.
