Autumn brings with it a change in the seasons, cooler weather and a focus on the upcoming holidays. It also bring the opportunity to reflect on life and where I've traveled along my own journey.

There's usually a good balance in my life between time spent with family and friends and impromptu trips out to somewhere where I can reflect on life or just some time to pull back and enjoying a nice Sunday afternoon nap.

I spend my days either at the office, the gym, visiting friends for dinner and having dinner with my Son and going with him to a scouting function, a ball game or sometimes just helping him through his school work.

Despite how busy or un-busy I might keep myself, I feel like it's time that I share some of life's experiences and adventures with someone special.

I've heard that my best attributes are my smile and my sincerity...you'll find nothing fake or pretentious about me.

I work hard to maintain a sort of balance in my life. I love my job, the people that I work with and the direction that my career is taking me but when I do leave the office, then, that's where I leave it. I can tell you that I find great value in keeping a balanced life.

That balance in life doesn't just go for work and home either, I exercise regularly and find great value in good health.

I'm a romantic at heart; I don't believe in possession, jealousy or envy and welcome those who have lives and friends of their own. I welcome those with their own thoughts and opinions and I'm genuinely interested in hearing them. I don't try to change the minds of others. I truly believe..."you can't change those around you...but you can change yourself, and in doing so, ultimately change the world that surrounds you..."

I'm well on my way towards the life that I've dreamt of...a career, a house, family and friends, along with the freedoms to enjoy them. Now, I'd like to find someone who finds true value in 'the little things' in life; those small and unexpected gestures and experiences that express true appreciation and affection and help build the foundation of a great relationship.

Our first date would be spent sharing stories, learning more about each other and having lots of laughs...not even aware of the world going on around us until suddenly we'd realize how much time had gone by which only felt like a blink of an eye.
