Hey, ya’ll pleased to meet you! I’m gonna go ahead and tell you a little bit about myself, so here goes:

I’m a smart guy, with a quirky sense of humor(some might say “too” quirky; I get lots of strange looks from my co-workers at times from it), I tend to be pretty shy and/or introverted when I first meet people; this is probably due to the fact that I really need to make sure we’ll get along first, due to my sense of humor. I can also be pretty quiet at times; I’m definitely a better listener than talker. Once I get to know them, I really care about them, and want them to be happy.

Right now, I'm in Utah, doing some military training. I can't wait to get back to Georgia, though.

I'm in the national guard; It's okay, I guess. I've had some interesting experiences during my deployment a few years ago, anywhoo.

I enjoy watching movies; going out to the movie theatre is always a fun experience, it's all very fun, imho. The closer I sit to the front of the screen, the better. I want to take it all in, immerse myself in the movie.

History is a hobby of mine. I've been thinking of majoring in it, even. We'll see. I enjoy discussing all types of history; from all periods of time and locations. I also enjoy gaming, both of video games and board games; science fiction and fantasy stuff, and RPGs. I would like to meet someone who shares these interests; you don’t necessarily have to share these interests, but you can’t actively dislike, either. Note: for those of you who don't like reading tons of words, and stuff, this means I'm a nerd/geek/dork. (pick your choice) Know this is me, and it won't be changing; I would like to meet someone of the same.

I like hanging out with my family and friends; I tend to be pretty laid-back when it comes to my free time, and am pretty much up to do anything when hanging out, or nothing at all...it totally depends on the situation; I like to go with the flow.
I come from a large family, the second-oldest of eight, so I'm used to being around people and kids; I definitely enjoy being in the company of other people and hanging out; I don't like being by myself. I mean, who does?

I am looking for someone who is similar to myself; smart, funny, and hopefully shares some of the same interests. I am here looking for more of a long-term, stable relationship, since I don't really believe in casual dating. If you have red hair doesn’t hurt either, lol!

So, in closing, anyone out there thinks it'd be cool to get together sometime(especially if you share any of my interests!), feel more than free to send me a message. Hopefully, we’ll hit it off, and something will happen. You never know…

My interests:
Music: I listen to just about anything and everything, if I like the beat; not a really a fan of hard rap, though.
TV: I like more "serialised" shows. Currently, my fav show is the new Battlestar Galctica; waiting for the new season, yeah! I will watch just about anything, but I don't really like reality TV. The one exception to this I have found is America's Next Top Model; I caught a few eps that my sister was watching, and found it to be hilarious....I don't think that's what the producers intended, though! I don't really watch much TV when it airs: I prefer to buy the seasons on DVD. Currently, among other, I own seasons(and thus like!) the following shows: Futurama, Family Guy, Deep Space Nine, BSG, Seinfeld, Lost, Band of Brothers, The Office, Simpsons, Scrubs.
Movies: Hmm, up for whatever, I suppose. I like LOTR; that's a good, epic movie series. I like all types of movies. The last two movies I saw in theatres were I Am Legend and Cloverfield.

How can I answer this? I don't know, I can't just tell you; this is a joint decision with whomever I'd go out with; we'd decide it together. Really, just having a chance to get to know the person, see what they're like, what they do for fun, their likes and dislikes, ect. It's hard, I think, to get a good feel for someone over the phone or online...
