Update Time, Okay I've restarted smoking but only after work now.
I have been here before, but took a break for a few months.I can be a bit shy and hesitant, but once I loosen up I can be jovial and pleasant.For the majority of my adult life I have worked for the Federal Government in one form or another. Whether it be the 22 yrs spent in the Air Force or the past 12 yrs working in the Federal Corrections system. Fo the most part my careers have been serious in nature, whether working on equipment to save aircrews lives or teaching inmates how to sew or repairing the machines they use.Now however it is time to enjoy life. I am quite comfortably set and I do try to get up to Edmonton more often to visit family. I have found that I actually prefer from Edmonton north in our fair province. Perhaps it is the fishing, or quite possibly I enjoy the north even with it's cold temperatures.When it comes to keeping active I have found that I am enjoying getting out and walking more, but I think it might be more fun to get back into skiing. Especially with me being closer to the mountains.I am not a large fan of drinking, however I do enjoy Hot Toddies in the winter as well as the occasional Kilkenny ale. I am trying to quit smoking hence I put down occasionally as I do not expect to fully be smoke free after having smoked for 40 yrs. I realize that I will still have cravings and I have to work through them.If perhaps I have picqued your interest,please don't hesitate to drop me a line. I do realize that this time of year is hectic, but one can always hope.

My idea of a first date/meeting would be to go somewhere where we could have a coffee, tea or perhaps a drink and talk. There are no preconceptions here and if all goes well who knows perhaps a second meeting with dinner and perhaps doing some activity together.
