About Me
It is hard to wrap yourself up in just a few paragraphs, it always seems like you are boasting or trying to sell yourself. But here is a little bit about me.
I lead a pretty simple lifestyle. I like RV camping at the lake with my daughters, their husbands, and the grandkids. I can enjoy doing nothing but spending the afternoon walking a disc golf course shooting the breeze with my brother, or spend three days racing him down a mountain in Breckenridge Co. I am a rollercoaster fanatic, I drove all the way to Cedar Point, OH to ride the 302 ft Millennium Force coaster the year it opened.
I can put on leathers and enjoy a bike rally or two a year, and the next week travel to San Francisco on business without embarrassing myself at a four start restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf.
Traveling is a passion of mine, but it is not nearly as fun to do alone. My next vacation I would like to take is to one of the SuperClubs in Jamaica.
I do not want put a lot of limitations on the type of person I would like to meet. I believe diversity is good in a relationship. It is always fun for two people to introduce each other to new experiences.
Ultimately I am looking for a relationship where there is a mutual trust and respect. If a relationship has that everything else will take care of itself. I would like to meet someone who is kind of a homebody, but also has a little bit of an adventurous streak. I think a couple can find a nice balance in that aspect.
I thought we would be a match,
But, no response meant that she didn’t agree,
It really doesn’t matter; I’ll find an internet match
Just you wait and see.
Another is sixteen years older,
But still she dropped a line,
Saying, “We would make a great match”
If I would only make her mine.
One of my first questions has been answered,
Now I know the reason why;
“No Thank You” letters are hard to compose,
It is easier, just not to reply.
We all love romance, quiet times, adventure,
And want someone that we can call “Dear.”
I wonder; if everyone is so perfect
How did we all end up here?
A fun first date seems to be a thing of the past,
Discussion over dinner suits all but a few.
Does anyone know why those meetings
Always feels like a marriage interview?
All at once they just stop answering,
When the correspondence seemed to be going fine.
So you think, and think and ponder some more,
“What did I say that was out of line?”
Thank you very much for your note,
We do have a lot in common; probably could find more.
But I want to shop around a bit,
Just as I do at the department store.
Let’s be totally honest,
I am setting my sights a little higher,
I have only been at this for eight short months.
The situation is far from dire.
Our friends tell us that we are too picky,
But we know we have a right to be.
It really doesn’t matter, We’ll find an internet match
Just you wait and see.

First Date
I am open to most anything. A relaxed event(a flea market,a zoo, a river festival, etc.) where two people could walk, observe, and visit would be nice. Coffee, dinner, or going for a drink would be fine with me also.
