Often depicted as a "hopeless romantic" as evidenced by my love of the classic movies such as: "Gone With The Wind", "The Sound Of Music", "The Wizard of Oz", "The Blue Bird" as well as countless numbers of black and white vintage films. I have a bubbly personality and don't have any trouble befriending people of both genders as I am always interested in making friends with diverse interests and personalities.

I would eventually enjoy meeting a gentleman that shares my interests and is willing to get to know one another as a "true friend" first. If there is chemistry between us and, we BOTH wish to pursue the relationship further, then, by all means, I am open to discussion.

FOR NOW:
I am interested in participating in the FORUMS and enjoying the banter. I find some of the forums a bit mundane, but others of interest. I can be silly or serious, just like anyone! I enjoy laughter more than anything and believe that "laughter and red wine are the keys to longevity".

I enjoy going to events where there are meet ups in groups where one would meet people of various and diverse interests. I enjoy various musical genres too and actually have a singing voice. (I wanted to be an Opera singer at one point in my life!) I believe I'm a great cook, as told by others, but you can let me know when the chance comes about.

A wine tasting event might be a nice way to meet as well, with others to break the ice, so to speak. If I look at you or respond to your viewing, that means there is some interest and a follow-up email is encouraged and welcomed. Don't be shy...you can write first. In fact, I prefer it. I would like to be with a gentleman that is in my GEOGRAPHICAL area (not too far a drive) and who does NOT smoke! If there is mutual interest between us, we could meet for a drink/appetizers or even a coffee shop. and perhaps take it from there! How about something short and sweet just enough to give us a chance to see if we click on some common ground; like a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Then, if there is mutual attraction/interest, we can plan something wonderful together for our first official date. A few emails and a phone conversation will determine if there is further interest to pursue one another.
Do you have any suggestions? I know that I would love to prepare a picnic basket for the two of us and, you can bring the bottle of wine. How does that sound? It is just a thought, but truly anywhere where we can meet face to face and get to know one another.
