It's really hard to talk about yourself without sounding arrogant, but here goes. I I'm pretty open, I don't keep secrets, I don't lie, and I don't cheat. I know what I want and also know what I don't need or have time for. I love my kids more than anything and they always come first. My close friends are my family. I love my job - so overall I enjoy my life - I'm just looking for more. I love to laugh and have a fantastic sense of humor. I'm not shy, but I am afraid of the dark. I can't dance or sing (but I still do it) and have no artistic talents whatsoever. So I rely on my common sense and quick wit to get by. I don't care if you drink or smoke but if you do drugs (any illegal drugs) keep looking. I don't have a specific type of man that I usually go out with, but I do know the overall traits I am looking for.

I'm looking to find someone that shares my interests, but also will teach me new things. Someone that enjoys different things than me but can appreciate what I like too. I love the outdoors and I'm not afraid to get dirty and go camping (in a tent, the way L.L. Bean intended)or shovel dirt or cut grass. But I still love my heels and lip gloss. I like pretty much all music but am a big fan of 80s, rock, and country - hardcore rap, not so much. As far as dating goes, I'll go to bars and clubs, but it's noy my favorite thing to do - I'd rather be outside doing anything. I'm perfectly happy to lay on the couch and watch movies, or go hiking in the mountains, spend the day on the river or at a concert.

There aren't a whole lot of things that I need in a man but the biggest is a sense of humor. If you don't know how to laugh, we're going to have issues. After that is loyalty and knowing how to be faithful and respectful. But I appreciate honesty above anything else. I'm a very affectionate person with the right man. I'm very affectionate and like to express it. I'm over guys that just want sex and don't want to invest anything to get there. Relationships take work from both sides and if you're not willing to put the time in, you shouldn't be dating.

That all depends on the company. I'm always up for trying new things. However, I think first dates should be kept low key so you can learn about each other. After that, anything is fair game!
