I am just an average guy...have been divorced 12 1/2 years...have 2 teenage daughters. I didn't date much when my kids were younger because I considered myself a "full-time daddy" before anything else; dating got in the way (that's a long story); my kids are approaching "young adulthood" so now I think it's time for "Daddy" to pick up where his life left off so many years ago; I'm looking for a woman that wants in a man: a best friend (first), a confidant, a soul mate. I believe a lasting relationship "must" premise on "honesty" - nothing else should be acceptable and I think all relationships "should" begin in "friendship" - if it goes "further" then I'd say we both win

I would want "a first date" to be a relaxing encounter; doing something that we both have in common with each other and that we'd both enjoy doing; you "never" have a "second" chance to make a "good first impression"...and hopefully.....a good first impression might lead to a "second date", etc., etc., etc.
