I am interested in meeting someone for a long term relationship but realize it starts with friendship first and dating is part of that process. I have lots of life long friends, what I want is to meet someone who wants to be a life long partner, someone to share our two lives together as one.

Family and friends are important to me. My friends would say I am loyal, funny, loving and kind hearted. My five sisters might disagree but I do love them all.

I enjoy working with a youth organization several days a week, bowling for recreation now, cycling, walking and hiking as well. I like my camera and find it is safer behind the lens then in front of it ... lol

I enjoy going out to local restaurants as they have a different atmosphere to them than the Kelsey's and Montana's of the world.

I enjoy day trips to small towns in the area, sitting on the beach relaxing, or walking through a conservation area listening to the rustle of the trees, the dripping of the water and the chirping of the birds.

I have a plan to visit every province in Canada. I have been to Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, and Alberta, so I am half way there.

What am I looking for in a partner? Well the key word is partner, someone who is willing to share our lives together. I am looking for someone who is self-confident, family oriented, kind, caring and respectful. You have to have your life together and be over your last relationship (for good). You would be surpised!!! House full of kids, out of the nest or an empty nest is fine with me.

For me, I am a doer most of the time but can just kick back and relax as well. I am kind, caring and considerate of others. I can tear up at a good story of someone helping someone in need and going that extra mile. Hard to watch the endings of Extreme Home Makeover, or some of Oprah's shows. Okay, I know, the guy just admitted he tears up and watches Oprah, but note the word crying was never used ... lol

I honestly want to meet a wholesome and good person, don't we all. There is someone out there for all of us. If you are interested lets meet and see what happens.

On a first date I would take you out to a nice local restrauant with great ambiance, have a great conversation and then after go for a walk by the lake and watch the sunset. As a first meeting I would suggest going somewhere that we can talk but doing something at the same time. Coffee is always great but going out to a flea market, walking along the waterfront or just sightseeing gives one the opportunity to see someone as they truly are.
