OK, so I'll admit...I am a little skeptical about this online dating thing. I created this profile a little bit ago and really didn't put too much effort into the whole thing because I wasn't really taking it seriously. Now, it seems everyone of my friends that I run into has a girlfriend that they met through some online dating service. I now realize that this could be something that is worth more of my time.

So, here's a little bit about myself. My name is Tom and I'm a 25 year-old graduate student studying for my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I'll be graduating in February 2010 and I can't freakin wait! I feel like I've been in school forever. As for my free time, I just spend it hanging out with the boys and playing some hockey or basketball. I'll also go out with people from my PT class. I pretty much listen to all types of music, but I'm partial to alternative/rock type stuff. My drinks of choice when I go out are usually Yuengling or Miller Lite unless there's a ridiculous special on something else.

I may be a little shy at first, but then I open up once you get to know me. Most of my friends and classmates would probably describe me as loud. I figure I need to raise my voice a little bit if I'm giving rehab to an elderly deaf woman, so I think it works out. I'm also pretty calm and patient and willing to discuss any possible disagreements that may arise.

Lunch or dinner dates are OK, but I'd probably want to try and do something different. I'm very picky with the kinds of seafood I eat, so I'd want to stay away from that for the first few dates. I'll pretty much eat only shrimp and crab legs...Yum! Definitely not a movie because I think we should talk a little (if not a lot) on the first date. If the weather was nice, I would take a girl outside and do something like mini-golf, or just walk through a park and talk. I'm pretty much up for anything though. If you have any suggestions, just let me know.
