Originally from Minnesota (USA), I recently moved to Dundee to take a challenging technical job. I've been spending my free time learning to play guitar, traveling around Scotland, and getting in shape.
My friends describe me as intelligent, funny and dependable. They call me other things as well, but I try not to dwell on it.
As you can see, I don't take myself too seriously.
My taste in music (Loreena McKennitt, Weird AL, AC/DC) and film (Princess Bride, Blade Runner, Big Trouble in Little China) is fairly eclectic. I appreciate most kinds of humor but bad puns and unexpected one-liners have a special place in my heart. I can dance like John Travolta when no one is looking. I like spicy food, especially Thai. My favorite restaurant in Dundee so far is Rama Thai. I'd love to find a Mongolian barbeque, so if you know of one in this area, please let me know.
I love to travel. Among the places I'd like to visit in the near future are Eygpt and Greece. I recently spent a week in Rome. I am fascinated by ancient civilizations and the fact that some of their structures are still standing.
I have a pet parrot. She will be flying over (pun intended) to join me in the UK once the appropriate paperwork has been approved.
Go to the zoo and fling poo at monkeys. Let's see how they like it when they're on the receiving end. :)
