Hi...I am a down to earth girl who loves rock music - bands like H.I.M, Evanescence, The Used, Funeral for a Friend, Tool, NIN, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Rise Against, Biffy Clyro, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Bullet for my Valentine and so on. I love meeting new people and going out at least once a week, even though I'd prefer if it was always warm outside! I love to be in the sunshine and around people who are caring. I am very emotional, but extremely loyal and caring and I would just about do anything for someone I care for. My main goal in life is to find happiness and people contribute hugely towards that. :)

I'm looking for someone of a similar age to me...I'm not prepared to commit to anything through a computer screen as I believe in chemistry in the flesh and not through the internet. Obviously though, it is hard to meet people in real life, otherwise I wouldn't be here. I just want to see who's around really. For me to date someone though I would have to have plenty in common with them. I don't believe in opposites attract, because in my experience, if I don't have much in common with someone I find very little to talk about. Sharing passions is what makes a relationship blossom. I don't like smoking so that would put me off. Looks matter to a certain degree, and anyone who denies that is lying. There has to be physical attraction as well as emotional connection. I am well aware that I am no Kate Beckinsale, but I also know that without the attraction there's little left apart from friendship.

I like to keep things pretty simple on a first "date" (whatever that is). So that would probably just be going to a nice pub, preferably an "alternative" one, like Ben Crouch's Tavern, having a drink and just getting to know each other. That's all I really expect or want from a first date. I'm more modern in my thoughts on "dates" and I wouldn't like a guy paying for me or vice versa. I think when you let someone you don't know buy you things, you feel like you then owe them something. And you just may not like them and then it seems a bit wrong to let someone pay for you when you aren't even sure what you think of them.

I don't mind if someone I am going out with buys me a drink or dinner, but in the initial stages I like to treat it as friends hanging out and chatting about life. No pressure:)
