I am a former New Yorker (actually from Brooklyn) who adamantly refuses to lose the accent-even after living in Maryland for more than 20 years. I am energetic, a bit adventurous, creative, intelligent and believe I have a good sense of humor (at least that is what I have been told). I am caring, nurturing, honest (really!- not into the 'games'), and take great pleasure in helping others in a variety of ways, when and wherever I can. I would like to find a man with similar qualities.

I have very varied interests including (but definitely not limited to) traveling, photography, music (playing and listening to)and the arts, cooking (it is not any fun though to cook for 1), reading, and learning about and discussing a wide variety of topics (just about everything from A to Z). I love the water; swimming, snorkeling, fishing, crabbing, and boating. I also love to travel and see new places (even ones that you have been to before can be 'new') -if it happens to have a beautiful sandy beach, soft warm breezes, and tropical palm trees and of course a 'killer' sunrise or sunset- so much the better, but not a necessity.
