Attention Scammers: Under NO circumstances will I be sending money anywhere - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Now on with my profile:
I decided to make my profile long to give you a chance to know me a bit better, so here it goes. I'm easy going, introspective, understanding listener, intelligent, witty, open, sensitive, logical, very active, willing to take a few risks and last but not least, I am slightly introverted. I can be down to earth, which I am most of the time, but generally prefer not to be. I consider myself to be honest & ethical, go out of my way to treat people fairly, but I am not religious(agnostic). Politically, I'm a libertarian(man without a real candidate in most elections, political equivalent of a agnostic).
My Interests:
My favorite vacation(s) have been ski trips, not so much for the skiing, I just enjoy being in the mountains. I've been snowmobiling through Yellowstone National Park several times on ski trips and for me it was almost surreal - I loved the openness, the wild life and outdoor scenery. Could have done without the extreme cold.
I play tennis several times a week and compete in several leagues. My son enjoys fishing(not a favorite activity of mine) so I usually go once a month in the warmer weather. My daughter & I have done the Indian Trail Blazers(through the YMCA,I've been her tribe's chief several years) so camping is also an activity that I occasional do. I enjoy & download(900+) lots of music, mostly 60's & 70's pop, Van Morrison blows me away as does the Rolling Stones, C,S,N&Y, Elton John, Motown, Jewell, Aaron Neville, Enya, Celtic Women many others(ballads mostly). I've got pilot's license(which isn't current), scuba certification(have dove in Hawaii & Mexico. Prior to marriage/kids I watched a ton of movies. A few of the movies that I love are Woody Allen's, fresh comedies(no recycle jokes or bits) and/or movies that are unpredictable or introspective about its characters. I'm always tinkering with stuff, the computer that I am using to type this profile I built as a gaming computer for my kids. I love Native American Artwork and I dream of some day decorating a house with a southwest look. Around the house I've done plumbing, electrical, roofing, drywall, car repairs etc. I enjoy reading, mostly fictional history, non-fictional history and science. Oh and if my profile is starting to read like a profile prepared on "Criminal Minds" that is because its one of my favorite TV shows, so your feeling might be on target. I've got a fondness for sport dogs, I have a black lab as a pet now(real sweet dog) and in the past I've had an English Setter & Weimaraner. I been known to consume a few craft beers and I have done some home brewing.
Travel I'd like to Do:
I took a trip by rail from Cincinnati to Washington DC and I loved it. Traveling down the New River was so very scenic. On the trip home I even got involved in a middle of the night card game with some fellows from Chicago(had to teach them boys the nuances of playing hearts - classic stuff!) So with that in mind, I'd love to take a trip to the Grand Canyon by rail. Maybe do some river rafting and horseback riding while there. On a similar vein, other rail trips that would interest me are Seattle to Alaska(through British Columbia) or through several countries in Europe.
Who I'd Like To Meet:
In a female partner I am foremost looking for a best friend, some I enjoy talking to and sharing ideas, some one supportive, flirty, trusting and someone I can confide in. I know that I can offer her the same and more for her. I'd list a bunch of deal breakers if I had them, I don't(more preference than anything), nothing is black & white to me. I believe everybody brings something to the table both good & bad, and some times the good is so good that the bad becomes minor - sort of the spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down type of thing. I'm active and fit(try to do some sort of physical activity 3-4 times a week), and prefer to meet someone that does likewise. I also feel that I would be a disappointment to those that are looking for someone to share in their religious life.
THE HOOK

So if I've tweaked your interest little bit and you aren't telling yourself "not so fast this guy might be crazy" , message me and tell me a little about yourself and we can go from there! If there is a lot of geographic distance(not in North America) between us, I'm game, but things aren't going to happen fast - I've had a few scams run by me. So far they haven't cost me anything, but they've made me skeptical. The bottom line is I ain't that lonely and I'm not going to send money to someone I vaguely know.
I'd like to keep a first date somewhat short and/or with some activity such as park walk, grilling out on the deck, cup of coffee or craft beer/glass of wine.
