up for adventure, love life, travel and know what you want in life.....
I am an outgoing, attractive, active woman who is pretty casual most times, flexible and easy going. I suppose it comes with being a supply teacher for thirteen years.
I enjoy spending time with my bright daughter whenever possible. Prior to my separation and in the early years that followed we were nearly inseparable. I did not intend for her to come from a split home, but she knows that she is loved very much by both of us and that life goes on.
She is a secure, happy-go-lucky young lady and she is the one person who knows me above all. We understand each other and share a unique relationship few parents achieve in this busy world. Children can keep you young, or age you overnight. I feel very content and blessed at 41 in knowing she is unique and loved unconditionally. She is respectful, thoughtful, creative and does not mind being stuck with a mom like me! lol
In addition to my girl, I too have an adorable little dog. While small in stature, he has a huge personality! He is very protective, entertaining and a delight to have around. His cute little face, his waggly tail and his crazy antics is a wonderful sight to wake up to in the morning or to be greeted by after a long day.
What makes me unique ... well 23 years ago I flipped a car on a patch of ice - it changed my life in lots of ways. I never saw life the same again. I started a new life, in a different body - but got to keep 17 years of knowledge. Except at 17...you still have plenty of living and learning ahead! And I mean L O T S !!!
Despite living with a spinal injury, I have been fortunate to contribute to over 20 years of research to improve the lives of others who have since sustained an injury similar to mine or in many cases - much worse. I am an Ambassador for Wheels in Motion, the Foundation founded by Rick Hansen in 1985. At that time he wheeled 24,901.55 miles around the world to raise awareness, hope and funds for those of us who have sustained an injury to our neck or our back and left behind permanent damage to the spinal cord. Since it truly is your lifeline, controlling your entire autonomic system, it leaves people to figure out an entirely new life. No two injuries are the same, ever.
Christopher Reeve believed he would walk again. And I know I have the potential. My injury is very incomplete and stem cell research is getting better by the day. Everyday is a challenge and everyday is a gift. We are each challenged in some way, shape or form - the difference is in overcoming that challenge. So each day we rise to face the day and make many choices and decisions. Some great and others...well - you know.
The people we meet, and the interactions we share daily change us as people and alters the way we think. Thus...
I am seeking a man who will compliment my life, who will enjoy our life together with the ups, downs, twists, and turns. Someone who will endure through joy, laughter and sorrow.
You must enjoy music, travel, be active and physically fit(to lift 110 lb. occasionally). I also like the company of a man who enjoys the nightlife occasionally. But, he knows when to stop ordering shots, call a cab and go home. Oh...and by the way, a non-smoker for sure - sorry guys - kissing an ashtray is just a huge turn-off!
Life is an adventure...so lets get on with it....
I do not bite, maybe a nibble here and there, but that is o.k., right?

oh well...what hell...make my day.......
happy fishing to all....

pumpkin carving with dull knives....a game of pool....a drink at the BOATHOUSE....a specialty coffee at Chapters....or - we will figure that out together...haha.
