Hi there. Thanks for stopping by. I know MOST of you are just skimming and browsing for the fun of it, just like me. So I thought I’d give you a little something different to read. Happy fishing to us all. PEACE

For the browsers, read the first paragraph. That will give you the basics. If I pique your interest the LONG story follows :-)

I'm an atypical full on computer geek that has a love of life, women, music, philosophy, PLUR, hiking, and so much more that you'll just have to contact me to find out. I like travel, food, coffee, and chatting. I don't dress up fancy too often, but clean up real well when I need to. I like learning. About anything that strikes my curiosity. I'm looking for a great conversation to start. Everything moves on from the first impression we give each other.


On a side note: I've been getting a lot of responses lately from two types of fisherwomen. Ones without any photos, and ones who have a faith in God or Jesus or some other spiritual being. Please don't message unless your profile has at least one picture of yourself. Thanks.
I'm a non-believer in a God of any sort. It doesn't make sense and I'm not a challenge for you to convert. If you can't deal with a logical person of no faith, skip me over. I know this line will greatly reduce my responses. Religion is deeper rooted than almost anything else. I will gladly have a conversation with you on the subject. However, I know you are as deep seated in your faith as I am in my non-belief. That is a deal breaker so why should we go through the game?
Religion has been the single largest cause of human suffering, pain, misery, death and destruction ever.


Now on to the details. :-)

To start, I'm looking for a friend and companion. I'm very comfortable being single. A companion would be awesome, but I don't have the NEED to be in a relationship. You should feel the same. Self reliance and self confidence are incredibly sexy. Needless to say openness and honesty is imperative. Sincerity is very important too. Those are my litmus tests for friends and relationships. Good or bad, I tell it like it is.

I've worked hard get to where I am now. I'm frugal and live within my means. I never owe more than I can pay off at any time. If you're digging for gold, this is the wrong profile to be reading.

I live in the today. The future is too much of an unknown especially in today's world. So when it comes to meeting women, I'm not thinking 'Is this the right one'. I'm hoping you are cool and fun to be around. I try to be as laid back as possible. I love most every one and every thing. Please don't bring any bad vibes with you. Positive attitudes only.

I want an activity/sloth partner. Can you hang out, watch the tube, take day hikes (nothing too extreme), and chill with long conversations about anything and everything? You don't need to be a professor, but you do have to be able to hold up your end of a conversation. If you know what all the following things mean, we should talk: Captain trips, 42, NCC-1701, BSG-73, PiHKAL, on belay, Figure-8, Violet Wand, Safety word.

I don't mind if you have children. That's great and more power to you. But I don't want to meet them either. As long as you're cool with that, I'm cool with you. I give you all the credit for being a mom and raising kids. I'm just not looking for that type of relationship. I understand your kids come first.

If you haven't just axed me for being honest, then good for you.

I enjoy being a gentleman. I hold doors, walk on the outside, and I'm prone to spontaneous acts of corniness.

I’m a long talker as well as a long writer. I like details. I love long deep talks about everything. From Family Guy to Philosophy.

I'm still a kid at heart, but my body gets beaten up easier now. Most of my friends are younger than me. I am told by my female friends that I look about 38.

I'm a healthy eater, who prefers to cook at home than go out for food. I miss having roommates sometimes because I got to cook for people. No sticks and twigs diet, though. Just healthy, well rounded, meals. Lets get together and share recipes. We can cook for two instead of one.

I've got a 38 waist that I keep trying to get back down to 32". I never make it, but float between 34" and 36" in the summer, and pack back on to 38" in the winter. I'm not a six pack abs guy, never have been, never will. I don't exercise for looks or health. I walk and hike just for the fun of getting out and exploring. On the beach, around town. Staying healthy is a nice side benefit.

I don't drink often, and hardly go to bars anymore. I played the meat market scene in the 80s and 90s. BITD. I loved it then but this is now. My friends drag me out to local bars occasionally (I have a lot of musician friends and like watching them play out) and I always have fun, but drunk people get on my nerves now.

I'm a retired DJ. I used to play all the area nightclubs and RAVE's (If you don't know what they are, or have misconceptions about them, that’s too bad). I played back when they were called 'undergrounds' and took place in old Warehouses. From Boston and west to Portland and north. I've met awesome lifelong friends at parties and truly believe in PLUR (Peace Love Unity Respect). Although I don't frequent them as much nowadays, I still keep up with Techno and Trance.

I like most music except modern music that use old hooks and samples. Music today seems to be devolving and not evolving. I still love going to concerts and shows (It would be sweet to have someone to take with me). I listen to AM and Community Radio to help keep well rounded and up on the news and local music scene. My iPod is always with me. I mostly listen to audio books and Podcasts.

I LOVE Las Vegas. I try to get out west a couple times a year. I don't gamble so much anymore. I love to groove on the desert, people, and the vibe. Hunter S. Thompson style. I like anyplace that’s open 24/7 365. I am a night owl. Always have been. The only down side to the job I have is it's 9-5. I love the work, but I can't stay up til the crack of dawn anymore. That's what vacations in Vegas are for. Late nights recharge me. I must have some vampire in me :-[.

I'm politically active, (I read/watch/evaluate and vote on current events), but I'm NOT a political activist.

My ideal match would be able to keep pace intellectually, and be a great companion. A thrill to be with both physically and mentally. Physically, I like the wild side of life. NO VANILLA. Open mindedness a must for us both. Sex is fun. Anything more is best left for face to face. I'm loyal, and very giving to the right person. If you made it through all that, you have a very good idea of who I am, and what I'm looking for.
