Right now I live in Southern Illinois. I am seriously considering a move to central IL around Champaign, in the near future. Would love to meet someone from central IL.
Would love to find a man who is emotionally available; physically attractive (to me, anyway); outdoorsy enough to travel, camp, and go on walks or bike rides. Also, if you like sometimes to go out to dinner, movie, or just go for a drive, that's great! Like to explore the beautiful scenery of So. Illinois? I enjoy watching ballgames too, although you might have to fill me in on some of what's going on...haha!
I love cruises, tropical beaches...just getting away....pack a suitcase and I am there!
A great guy for me would be one who would keep me on my toes, laugh till it hurts, cry when things are sad, be a shoulder when needed, and who would also want those things in return from me! I also like surprises, to you from me, and to me from you.
I love a family oriented man, who is respectful and gentle towards the women in his life. I also REALLY like a manly man, who loves the outdoors and all that represents. If you like to work with your hands, fix things, make things, etc....well, I could help, or at least cheer you on..haha! Heck, I even like beards and mustaches...if they are neatly trimmed!
I love the old-fashioned romantic things like: cards, flowers, candlelight, soft music, holding hands, and a quiet evening with someone special.
The perfect guy for me would be one that would bring a smile to my face when I thought of him during the day, and hearing his voice would make me have butterflies all over again. He would like to call "just to hear my voice", and when we see each other, he would feel the same as I do...and together we could have the best time, just doing whatever.
I just retired in May 09, and have time to do all I want to do, and would love someone to do it with! I am a young looking 60 year old, most think I am in my late 40's/early 50's....let's hope I can keep it up a few more years, haha! I don't like confrontations, I am easy going to a fault sometimes.
I am eventually looking for a life mate for the rest of our lives, not just a temporary person to spend time with. However, that said, I know we have to start with a first date and build on that...so things take time. Chemistry between two people is important to me.

First date would be in a public place, of course. Coffee, lunch, conversation, etc.
If there is a spark of interest we might make plans to see each other again. If not, then we will be honest enough to say so.
