I am going to take a little bit of a different approach and hope that those reading this will be patient. I had two childhood friends who returned to their native country when I was about 5 years old. i had no further contact with them but we had thought of each other as siblings. Several years ago I had a dream about them and became determined to find them, mostly to make sure they were alive and well. It took a long time but I recently found one of them living in Singapore. This defines my perspective on life. It is about the relationships that touch us and stay with us regardless of how fleeting. Every interaction provides the opportunity to touch someone else's life.That being said....I am looking to meet someone who values communication and time together, but, also values time apart. I definitely enjoy being part of a couple. I am more comfortable in jeans and sneakers but do dress up nicely. Looking for someone with similar interests but who will also challenge me to try new/adventurous things. I enjoy reading, (do alot of it since I have a long commute), the sun, the ocean, the mountains, being on the back of a motorcycle, going out to eat (sushi is a favorite) and to the movies, as well as staying at home to cuddle. I think a first date should be casual and comfortable. It is an opportunity to learn something about the other person, as well as to see if there is chemistry. I feel meeting for a cup of coffee or a drink allows to people to meet without the pressure of a long date.
