I am a person with many hobbies and many pursuits. Lately, since it is warming up, I have been getting really excited about starting to do outdoors stuff again. When I don't have spring fever though, I tend to spend my time reading, playing chess or working on my photography.

I just got my bachelor's degree and have been trying to network and to meet new people. I am interested in meeting people to date and just meeting people to hang out. I hope to meet people that will be able to maintain a friendship even if a romantic relationship doesn't work out.

I am ambitious and have a lot of plans for what I want to do in life. Education, self improvement and having a positive attitude are all things that are important to me. I want to meet someone who enjoys being spontaneous, likes to go on adventures and has ambitions and goals as well.

I think that the first date should be for lunch, or even just for coffee, at a nice quiet and open place. Before we know what other fun things we could do, we need to get to know each other. If I know that you like mountain biking, then the next date could be up on the mountain. If I know that you like skiing, then we could hit the slopes. The first date should be relaxed, casual and full of good conversation.

Probably my dream date would be walking through Barnes and Noble and comparing favorite books. The coolest part of this date would be grabbing a cup of coffee, sitting down on a chair and reading each other's books. There could be talking too, I'm not against that by any means, but there is something real intimate in sharing what we read.
