About me ... well, until recently I was self-employed; however I recently started working for the government and am enjoying it. I am still working for myself part-time, so that tends to take up quite a bit of my time. However, when I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I can be shy at first, but open up as I get to know people! I love to laugh and find a sense of humour very attractive in a man (also being a little bit of a computer geek helps too!). I enjoy being active through various different activities. I try to walk everyday... I started running last year but with all the changes in my life happening I stopped, but am looking forward to getting back to it! In the past, I've tried playing squash, however, I am not very good at it! Actually I suck at it! But that doesn't stop me from playing it as I thought it was a lot of fun! I'm hoping to sign up for curling again this season as I tried it last year and rather enjoyed it. I love dogs - so should you! =) I enjoy watching movies and reading, but also going out to see a play or live comedy or going to a pub or just hanging out with friends.

Random things about me: I love the sound and smell of a campfire, I'm terrified of heights - however I went sky diving last summer to try and get over it (didn't work! Now I just have a fear of flying! SO KIDDING!! Actually it was fun!), I'm a terrible speller (thank goodness for spell check!), I try and do volunteer work when I can, I eat my pizza upside down, I'm a Habs fan, and my favourite colour is green. =)

So what am I looking for? Basically, I want it all. I'm looking for my best friend (yes I appreciate that sounds corny!). But someone who I feel deeply in love with. I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh and who enjoys life. Someone who I can count on, and is honest, compassionate, kind, caring, generous and fun to be around. Someone who I can learn from, someone who is encouraging and supportive. Looking for someone who would add to my life or enhance it. Someone who wants to lead a healthy and active life. Did I mention that being a "geek" would be a plus?? I love gadgets, but only once someone has set them up for me!
