How does one sell oneself well with words?

The things I enjoy doing are tent camping (once a month in summer), Geocaching, reading, watching movies, napping in my hammock… When I can borrow one, I also enjoy kayaking. During the winter months, I ski and provide first aid as a ski patroller twice a week.

I would prefer to find someone who would enjoy the outdoors with me (at least somewhat :-) ).

For the first date with someone I don't know, I tend to be more of a dinner and conversation person. That, of course, assumes that there is no foundation of knowledge to plan something else.
