About Me
I've observed that we men often list our material goods and what we want in a female partner. Women tend to express the love and feelings that are important to them.
Our relationships can be the canvas to portray and reflect our lives. I have a place on the White River in the Ozarks and it recently flooded. The river, to me, is an analogy of relationships. It carved out the beautiful valley that I'm in. When it flooded, it took some of my things away and it left some of itself and replenished the valley with new earth. The river rolls on.
What are your interests? Listening to you and learning about your desires and experiences expands my life. Where have you been and what have you done that brings joy, sorrow and fulfillment? What parts of the world do you want to revisit or see for the first time? What books have you read, people have you known? What makes you sigh with contentment, scream with frustration, close your eyes in ecstacy?
Here's some of what I would like-You can be a businesswoman, teacher, lawyer, dishwasher, physician, artist, masseuse, bartender or independent home maker. I hope you love wine or martinis, beer, water, or hard liquor. You know that a conversation is a two-way dialogue. You can read between these lines and take an educated chance on what you may find when we meet. Your confidence allows you to explore your passions.
Your education can be self taught or Ph.D. You understand humor, are a bit sassy, a nonconformist and sometimes even dominating. Most of all, you are what YOU want to be.
I find that sharing activities that are mutually enjoyable makes them even better. I may not even know how much I'll enjoy them until I do them with someone who can teach me through their eyes. I'm a private pilot and one of the many things I like to share is flying in small planes. I also love going into the swamp, bayous and marshes, exploring junk shops and the French Quarter-a never ending street theater-and traveling within and without. I've learned to enjoy art shops and theater, much to my surprise!
I am interested in the unfamiliar.
