EDIT: I'm actually 27...my birthday was at the end of July and apparently POF doesn't feel like updating my age (and you can't seem to do it yourself)

I've come to realize that a lot of guys here can't read a profile. They would rather just email and say "Hi" or "Hey sexy, how r u?" instead of actually putting any thought into the matter. Here's a hint - I delete those types of emails! I will take a well thought out, goofy, random, interesting or intelligent email any day over that. Proper spelling and grammar is a turn-on.

Regardless, for those who may be interested, a brief run down-

Who I am:
- Single mother of a 5 year old boy

- Prefer taller guys (5'11 and over)
- Between the ages of 25-34
- Sense of humour! (if you can't make me laugh, you won't keep me interested)
- Intelligent, witty, charming (not in the sleazy sense)
- Not someone who spends every weekend at bars and clubs
- Someone open-minded (eg. isn't stuck-up or shallow)
- Someone who enjoys their space when need be. Not clingy or needy
- Someone who enjoys the arts (music, movies, theatre or galleries, etc.)
- Career minded with a job (perhaps not obsessed but making something of yourself)
- Have manners! (I can't believe how many guys lack this)
- Not pushy
- Someone comfortable and confident with themselves (without being ego-driven)
- Have a car (I'm not shallow but I don't want to do all the driving. It's not fair)
- Appreciate your family and friends. Show respect for those around you
- Able to hold a conversation (don't add me to msn and then not talk!)


I don't mind being single and I'm not desperate to jump into anything serious right away, but I'm willing to meet people and see how things go. Also, I won't meet you after talking once online. I like to get to know someone online and let their true colours shine before I go any further. It's amazing what you learn after a few chats. I'm also very busy with my son and my business so my time is limited.

So, while I won't commit to you after one 'date', if you're game for no-expectations feel free to message me.

I'm not against the whole dinner/coffee idea, but frankly it gets boring after awhile. I love conversation but I also want to interact and not have to worry about what food gets stuck in my teeth. If you can come up with an original date idea it will probably impress me. And no, I don't consider extreme sports a good idea for a first date.
