I am a pretty happy, down-to-earth kinda guy. I like the simple things in life and try not to take life too seriously. Things that take place outside are the things I like most, whether it be golf or bike-riding, going to the beach, taking a weekend up north or just going for a walk down on the river-trail. I like to stay active and am into physical fitness, however, I certainly don't expect perfection. None of us are perfect. I beleive I have a great sense of humor and hope that you do too. Anger is something that is a waste of time. Life is too short for that. I am mostly comfortable in jeans and a polo or t-shirt. My ideal girl would be someone that doesn't take life or herself too seriously. She would have a great smile that lights up the room (or at least lights me up) Hopefully she would have her own interests and activities that maybe I could experience with her. She would like to be somewhat active outside, something we could share. YH martyinbc

A first date should be somewhat casual. If it's nice enough, maybe a walk in the park. Otherwise meeting for a cup of coffee or maybe lunch. Just something where we could meet and talk for an hour maybe. Hopefull there would be many more after that!
