I'm carrying about 20 extra pounds and I'm hitting the gym 3-4 times a week to reduce that, with some decent progress already made. Would prefer someone who is at least somewhat health-conscious, but as with most things, it's not 100% mandatory. My profile pic was taken today (12/31/2007) and aside from the goofy smile is a pretty accurate representation of my appearance, for better or worse.
I've had Detroit Lions season tickets since 1999 so I'm either loyal, foolish or most likely a bit of both. Probably the last year for those, though. I enjoy watching the Tigers play at Comerica, even though it is no Tiger Stadium. I love live music; mainly rock and blues but anything that's not over-commercialized and plastic gets a fair chance with me.

Good question. A lot would depend on the specific interests of the young lady as I'd want it to be something we'd both enjoy. I'm not one to shove my ideas down anyone's throat and I'm comfortable doing lots of things.
If I had to make a blind selection, it'd probably be an afternoon at the Detroit Zoo (or the DIA if the weather is unsuitable for the zoo), walking leisurely, taking in the sights and sounds, getting to know each other. Then off to dinner and drinks to round out the evening.
