I'm shy, yet I can talk your head off if given the opportunity. I love music, I listen, I play, I live music. Quite cliche, I know, but there's a reason cliches are cliche. I work a 7-3 job, and I like to come home and hang out with friends, or play the guitar. I write and perform songs in the La Crosse area. I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy, but I like to try new things every now and again.

I'd like to meet someone who can have a smart conversation with me about history, about politics, about music. The meaning of life. Bonus points for quirkiness. I like to keep it simple, yet have the room to be complex.

I believe chivalry is not dead, and therefore I aim to be chivalrous.

First dates. I've noticed many people prefer dinner and movie.

Dinner/coffee, sure. Movies/concerts are a bit loud, and you can't talk. Although after the movie, when you're drinking your post-movie coffee you would at least have the movie to talk about, if nothing else.

I love to pay for dinner, but I don't mind if someone wants to pay their own way.

I like doing the dating thing, the hand holding the door holding, the paying for things. The occasional PDA.
