I am in the twilight of my career and looking forward to retiring this year. I travel a lot for my job. Looking to meet new people. No drama please. Looking for someone college educated with a decent job/retirement. I like casual things like museums, nice restaurants, sight seeing. Like Old Town Pasadena, State Street Santa Barbara, The Getty, Gaslamp San Diego. I have motorcycles and a motorhome that I don't use enough.

I am looking for someone that knows how to have fun. Has their life together. Kids are under control. Pays their bills on time and has some left over. Gets along well with others and is well thought of. Has an even temper, is not too demanding, and is understanding of people. Looks good in a short skirt but not too fancy. Can cook for a meat and potatoes kinda guy. She makes everything better. Skilled in the craft of life. A real force multiplier as they say in the miltary. I'll know her when I see her.

I wouldn't go anywhere in Oxnard unless she is interested in a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. I would go to Ventura. Much more to do. Downtown Ventura is fun. It is only 10-15 minutes away. The marinas in Oxnard and Ventura are both pretty good. Find a place with a good band. I have been known to Karaoke a bit. Don't dance much. Santa Barbara is a short dirve up the coast. Lots and lots to do there; Solvang, Santa Ynez valley, Chumash casino, wine tasting ala Sideways. Ojai is fun with some real good restaurants. Even Santa Paula has some nice restaurants and fun things to do. Ventura county has lots to offer.

Maybe for the first meeting just something low key, like coffee, lunch or dinner. I don't drink alcohol but adult beverages are OK too. Open to suggestions. How adventuresome are you?
